
"Windows did not shut down successfully" error fixed by Critical Battery Change Tool

When the laptop models listed above wake from the Hibernation state, the error message "Windows did not shut down successfully" may appear, if the battery charge level was below 4% when the computer entered hibernation.
The computer does actually enter and wake from the hibernation state successfully, despite this error message.
- Resolution
Click the following link to download and run the Critical Battery Change Tool to get rid of this error message. This very small program is for only this purpose, and needs to be run only one time.
