- Issue
- After your computer has joined a domain, you cannot log on into network domain server and an error message will be displayed. This issue occurs only in Windows XP Professional Spanish.
- Resolution
- Download and install the patch file s240_xpdomain.exe.
- Procedure
- Hold down the F8 key while powering machine on to display Windows XP Boot menu.
- Select "Modo Seguro" (Safe Mode) in the boot menu.
- Choose "Microsoft Windows XP Professional".
- Log on as "Administrador" in the Windows User Log on screen.
- Select "Si" in the "Escritorio" dialog box.
- Double-click to run the s240_xpdomain.exe file. Your system will reboot after installation has completed.
