Issue
After your computer has joined a domain, you cannot log on into network domain server and an error message will be displayed. This issue occurs only in Windows XP Professional Spanish.
Resolution
Download and install the patch file s240_xpdomain.exe.
Procedure
  1. Hold down the F8 key while powering machine on to display Windows XP Boot menu.
  2. Select "Modo Seguro" (Safe Mode) in the boot menu.
  3. Choose "Microsoft Windows XP Professional".
  4. Log on as "Administrador" in the Windows User Log on screen.
  5. Select "Si" in the "Escritorio" dialog box.
  6. Double-click to run the s240_xpdomain.exe file. Your system will reboot after installation has completed.
