Satellite P100 locks up after memory increased to 4GB

Issue

Satellite P100 models may lock up ('hang') after the memory has been upgraded to the maximum capacity of 4GB.

Resolution

Update the computer's BIOS to version 4.30 or higher to fix this problem.
