Audio may be muted (there’s no sound) after installing or upgrading to Windows Vista -- even though the Mute checkbox for the Windows Volume Control is unchecked.This can happen if audio had been muted under Windows XP, before Windows Vista is installed.
- Resolution
Make sure that the Toshiba Value Added Package utility is installed, then click the following link to download and install the Sound Utility to Turn Off Mute After Upgrading to Vista.
