
Digital Vibrance setting lost after logging off or restarting Windows

When the Digital Vibrance setting is changed in the NVIDIA control panel, the setting is not saved -- its original value is re-established after you restart Windows, or log off from Windows and back on again.This has been corrected in NVIDIA display driver version 7.15.11.5616.
- Resolution
Update the NVIDIA display driver to version 7.15.11.5616 or higher -- after updating the computer's BIOS, if necessary, per the instructions below.- Procedure
Check and update the computer's BIOS1. Save all documents and other files and close all running programs.
2. Double-click the Toshiba Assist icon on the Windows Desktop.
3. Click the Protect & Fix icon.
4. Double-click the PC Diagnostic Tool icon.
5. If the BIOS version displayed is 1.70 or higher, skip to the Install the Display Driver section below.
If the BIOS version displayed is lower than 1.70, continue with the following steps to update the BIOS.6. Click the following link for BIOS version 1.70. Alternatively, visit the Toshiba support site at pcsupport.toshiba.com and browse for the newest BIOS for your computer.
7. Click the BIOS's filename on the Download page, and save the file to the Windows Desktop.
8. Double-click the downloaded file, then click OK.
9. Click Unzip then click OK.
10. If a User Account Control window is displayed, click Continue.
11. Select the Install from Windows button, then click OK.
12. If a Winphlash Warning window is displayed click Yes.
13. Click Start.
The computer will restart automatically when the BIOS update is done.

Install the Display DriverDownload the new display driver
1. Click the following link for the NVIDIA Display Driver V7.15.11.5616 download page.
2. Save the file to the Windows Desktop.Uninstall the old display driver
1. Click the Windows Start button, then Control Panel.
2. Click Programs and Features.
3. Select NVIDIA Drivers from the "Uninstall or change a program" list.
4. Click the Uninstall button (above the list) to remove the old driver.
5. Click Continue if a User Account Control window is displayed.
6. Click Yes to confirm the un-installation.
7. Click Yes to restart the computer.
8. When The New Hardware Wizard appears, click Cancel (twice).Install the new display driver
1. Double-click the downloaded driver file on the Windows desktop: driver_display_nvidia_os2007282a.exe.
2. Click OK, then click Unzip.
3. Click OK, then click Continue, if a User Account Control window is displayed.
4. Respond to the remaining prompts to complete the NVIDIA display driver installation.
5. Restart the computer.Changes to the Digital Vibrance setting in the NVIDIA control panel should now be properly saved, and stay in place after you restart Windows, or log off from Windows and back on again.
