When you open the Protector Suite Software and select Settings and then System Settings, the Protector Suite Settings may be 'grayed-out' -- preventing you from changing them.- Resolution
Elevate the administrative privileges in the Fingerprint Control Center.- Procedure
Follow these steps to elevate the administrative privileges:1. Click the Windows Start button, then click All Programs, Protector Suite QL, and finally Control Center.
2. In the Fingerprint Control Center, click Elevate administrative privileges for user.
3. Windows User Account Controls may ask for permission to continue, and may require you to enter an Administrator password. Click Continue.
4. The Fingerprint Control Center will close and then re-open. It should now be possible to change the Protector Suite Settings.
