The Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 60 day trial can be launched for a total of 25 times before it is Activated with a Product Key. After it has been launched 25 times, it can still be used without Activating it with a Product Key, but it will have a restricted set of features. The following message may be displayed:

"You must enter a Product Key now to continue to use your Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 programs. If you choose not to enter a Product Key now, the program will have limited functionality. Do you want to enter a Product Key now?"

To begin the 60 day trial period, follow the steps below to Activate the software, though an Internet connection.

Follow these steps to Activate the Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 60 day trial.

1. Double-click the Microsoft Office 60 Day Trials icon on the Window Desktop to start the Activation Assistant for the 2007 Microsoft Office Suites.

             You can also launch the Activation Assistant as follows:
                       1. Click the Windows  Start button.
                       2. Click All Programs.
                       3. On the All Programs menu, click Microsoft Office.
                       4. Click Activation Assistant for Microsoft Office.

2. Click on "CLICK HERE TO  REQUEST YOUR TRIAL ACTIVATION KEY ONLINE."  The 25-character trial product key will appear in the OEM key field.

3.  Click on "NOW, CLICK HERE TO LAUNCH MICROSOFT OFFICE AND ENTER YOUR TRIAL KEY."

4.  Copy the 25-character trial product key from the Activation Assistant for the 2007 Microsoft Office Suites window, and paste it into the Enter your Product Key field, then click the Continue button.

          A check mark is displayed to acknowledge a correct 25-character product key.

5. In the  Choose the installation you want window, click the Install Now button.

The following message will appear: "Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Trial configuration has completed successfully."

6.  Click the Close button.

7. In the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard window, click Next.

8.  Select "I want to activate the software over the Internet. (recommended)", then click Next.

The following message will appear: "This copy will expire on [Month/Date/Year]." 

The Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 60 day trial has now been Activated.

9. Click the Close button.
