
ISDN modem cannot attach to RealAudio sites

- Issue
- Using a stock 740 undocked or in a DSV+ and external ISDN Modem using COM1, an error message is received from the RealAudio server stating insufficient bandwith or the processor is not fast enough to decode the signal when attempting to play a stereo ISDN RA file.
- Procedure
According to RealAudio, the RealPlayer may not install properly with a virus program active.
First, manually uninstall RealAudio as follows:
In C:\RAPLAYER (or the directory specified during the installation):

If you installed the RealAudio Plug-In, then in the plug-in directory of your browser:

2. Then, with the virus program disabled, re-install RealAudio.
