The process tcpsvcs.exe may be occupying a large percentage of the CPU's attention, as reported in the CPU Usage column of the Windows Task Manager.- Resolution
If you are not using a printer over a network, you can resolve this by removing TCP/IP Print Services .- Procedure
Follow these steps to remove TCP/IP Print Services:- Click Start and then click Control Panel (or Start, Settings, Control Panel).
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- In the Add or Remove Programs window, click the Add/Remove Windows Components button (on the left side of the window).
- In the Windows Components Wizard dialog box, find the Network Services entry. Click it once (do not check its checkbox), then click the Details button.
- In the Networking Services dialog box, un-check Simple TCP/IP Services and click OK. Click Next in the Windows Components Wizard dialog box.
TCP/IP Print Services will no longer be running once the Wizard has finished updating Windows settings.
