Information

Drivers and utilities for the Toshiba Mini-PCI Wi-Fi NICs (Network Interface Cards) may be found on the Toshiba Support website. Please follow these steps:

  1. Browse to support.toshiba.com
  2. Click "Downloads".
  3. Choose the appropriate Product.
  4. Choose the appropriate Product Family.
  5. Choose the appropriate Model.
  6. Click Go.
  7. Select your operating system from the Filter by Operating System pull-down menu.
  8. Select "WiFi" [sic] from the Filter by Category pull-down menu.
  9. Click the "Apply Filter" button on the right.
  10. After a brief delay, you will see the list of wireless drivers and utilities applicable to your machine. Click on an item's Title to see more information about it, or click on the diskette icon to the far right to download it to your computer.

Note: Versions of the Windows OS prior to Windows XP require "Client Manager" software. Windows XP has the Client Manager function built-in. If your computer is running Windows XP, you will need only the device driver for your built-in Wi-Fi NIC (Network Interface Card). This driver is installed on your machine at the time of its manufacture.

Note: If you installed a Microsoft Update and choose a "Driver Update" for your Wi-Fi card, and the wireless connection stopped working, re-install the Toshiba driver, or in the case of Windows XP, choose Roll Back Driver in the Control Panel entry for  the Wi-Fi card, as follows: Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware tab, Device Manager, Network Adapters, double-click Toshiba Mini-PCI wireless adapter, Driver tab, Roll Back Driver.
