Use the DirectX Diagnostic tool to determine which version of DirectX is installed on a computer, as follows:- Click Start.
- Click Run, and clear out the contents of the Open field.
- In the Open field, type "dxdiag"
- Click OK. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will start, and display a properties page.
- The DirectX version number will be displayed at the bottom of the properties page.
Note : If you would like to update your DirectX drivers,
you may do so at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx
- Click Start.
