The following describes how to use Windows XP Media Player version 9 to copy music from a CD to your computer's hard drive.- Start Media Player 9.
- Insert a music CD into your CD drive.
- Click Copy from the CD tab.
- Click the selection boxes of the songs you want to copy from your CD.
- Click Copy Music.
How to Create a Playlist:
- Start Media Player 9.
- Click the Media Library tab. All the music you have copied from your collection to your computer will be displayed.
- Select New Playlist at the top of the Media Library window.
- Type a name for your playlist and click OK.
- Double-click each song to add it to your playlist. Repeat until you have added all the songs.
- If you wish to change the order of your songs, click on a song entry and then click the up and down arrow buttons to move the selected song to the point in the list you want it to play.
