The firmware of the WRC-1000 has been updated to improve performance, and add support for new features. The new version number is 1.07.31-C057. The new firmware corrects problems with maintaining a connection for a long time with clients that havePower Save mode enabled (this setting is disabled by default on noteBook PCs, and enabled by default on Pocket PCs).

Enhanced features of the new firmware include:

  1. WEP Key Re-distribution
  2. RADIUS timeout
  3. Re-authentication before WEP Key distribution
  4. PEAP authentication
  5. Shared Secret Key
