When using the Port Replicator to dock the computers listed below with the operating system Windows XP or Windows XP SP1 installed, Blue Screen error 0xFE may occur.

This error is caused by the USB device driver of Windows XP. Please update to the latest device driver via "Windows Update" from the Start Menu.

PCs subject to the update of the latest USB driver:

Tecra M1, Satellite Pro M10, Portege M100, Tecra S1

How to use the Windows Update:

i) Select "Windows Update" from the Start Menu.

ii) Choose "Scan for updates".

iii) From "Windows XP" "Pick updates to install", choose the following Windows XP update:

"Recommended Update for Windows XP SP1 (KB822603)". Then click the "Add" button.

iv) Please install the "Recommended Update for Windows XP SP1 (KB822603)" after clicking "Review and install updates".

Caution:

i) It is necessary to have Service Pack 1 in advance in order to install the update.

ii) Recommended Update for Windows XP SP1 (KB822603) is not displayed on the "Recommended Updates" window screen, when the "Recommended Update for Windows XP SP1 (KB822603)" has already been installed.
