Issue

When a user with limited account (without administrator privilege) logs on, some Toshiba utility software may not work to its full capability:

  1. "Mobile Extension Service" and "Bay Service" in Toshiba Mobile Extension3 may not work properly.
  2. Power User cannot change the settings of Toshiba Power Saver.
  3. A limited account user is able to start up Toshiba Accessibility.
Resolution

Please update the following utilities:

Toshiba Hotkey Utility for Windows XP/2000 to v1.00.1.33 or later.

Toshiba Mobile Extension 3 for Windows XP/2000 to v1.00.37 or later.

Toshiba Power Saver Utility for Windows XP/2000 to v10.00.28 or later.

Toshiba Utilities for Windows XP/2000 to v1.00.17 or later.
