Issue

When playing a DVD movie under Windows 98, the movie may play correctly for a few seconds and stop, or it will report an application error.

This occurs when you have the Toshiba driver for Windows 98 installed with the Tecra M1. The issue appears to be associated with the older version of Intervideo WinDVD.

Resolution

WinDVD version 4.0 ( build 11.90) corrects the issue. This version was released with the Windows 2000 bundle and it will work with Windows 98.
