How to adjust the Windows font size settings

On high-resolution displays, the default font size is sometimes too small to read comfortably for some users.
- Resolution
If this is the case for you, you can change the Windows default font settings as follows:
- Click on Start, Control Panel, Display.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Click Advanced, select the General tab.
- Adjust the DPI settings. Note that Windows XP offers "Large" and "Custom setting..." "Large sets the Windows fonts to 120% of the default size. Custom allows you to fine-tune the setting by specifying the percentage, and showing you a sample.
- Click OK and restart your computer if prompted to do so.
