
Troubleshooting WEB Camera not working

Follow these easy steps to troubleshoot WEB Camera issues
Check device manager to see if the WEB Camera hardware is present
- Press WindowsKey-X to bring up the Windows shortcut menu
- Select Device Manager
- Expand Cameras
If the TOSHIBA or Dynabook WEB Camera is shown:
Uninstall your WEB Camera driver and scan for hardware changes
- In Device Manager, press and hold (or right-click) your camera, and then select Properties.
- Select the Driver tab, then select Uninstall Device. Select the check box for Delete the driver software for this device, then select OK.
- In Device Manager, on the Action menu, select Scan for hardware changes.
- Wait for it to scan and reinstall updated drivers, restart your PC, and then try opening the Camera app again.
If the TOSHIBA or Dynabook WEB Camera is NOT shown
Check the System BIOS to enable the WEB Camera
- Shutdown your laptop completely by
- Select the Windows Icon
- Select the Power Icon
- Hold down the shift key while selecting shutdown
- Enter BIOS by
- Holding down the F2 while powering the laptop on until you see the Setup Utility
- Select Advanced
- In the middle window pane scroll down and select System Configuration
- Enable WEB Camera if not enabled
- Press F10
- Select Yes to Exit and Save change
- Export Control and EULA
