As a preventive measure, Dynabook will be releasing an eco Charging Mode Update thru Microsoft Windows Updates for Win10, Win8/8.1 and Win7. It is recommended, to install and utilize the eco Charging Mode to minimize the battery ageing condition.
The eco Charging Mode will optimize charging voltage and the charging level of the battery pack to about 80% of its current charging capacity. This charge optimization process may shorten the on-battery usage time and increase the time to charge the battery, but will help suppress the rise in the internal cell pressure of the battery and will allow for a longer life cycle of the battery pack.
