
How to correct a laptop that appears to not sit steady on a flat surface

The laptop does not sit flat on a hard flat surface.
- Resolution
To correct this condition follow the steps below:
- Close the laptop and turn the laptop upside down on a flat table
- Loosen al the screws securing the bottom cover in place. Note that you may need to remove any bottom cushions that are covering and bottom cover screws.
- With the screws loosened use a soft cloth and with a VERY light amount of pressure in a circular pattern rub from inside out on the bottom cover to apply a uniform fit of thebottom cover to chassis.
- Tighten the screws in a pattern shown below. NOTE:Start with the screw labeled number one and work in a zig zag pattern from the outside in.
- Re-apply any cushions that wrere removed to expose bottom screws.
