Unit will not charge battery or will not power on

Issue

A no charge or no boot condition may occur after a battery has been completely discharged.

Resolution

This issue has been address by updating to the latest BIOS which can be found on the Toshiba Support Site.

Procedure

Hold down the power button for 90 seconds to reset the unit.

Boot the system on AC power and download the BIOS update from the Toshiba Support Site.

Run the BIOS update application and follow the prompts.

Reboot the unit.
