About the Toshiba Fingerprint Utility

The Fingerprint Utility aims to identify users by scanning their fingerprints instead of entering a password. A user can scan their fingerprints on the sensor, and then use this method of authentication, instead of entering a password with the keyboard.

Notes of Caution

While any and all fingerprint and password utilities are conveniences, sometimes operating systems updates and upgrades can render these utilities in-operable so it always a good idea to remember and secure your passwords in the event you need to recover them in the future.
