TOSHIBA Sync Utility can help you synchronize files and Office Outlook® emails.

With this utility, you can:

• Synchronize files between two PCs or between a PC and a removable storage device.
• Synchronize files and emails with different synchronization directions.

More than one task can be performed with a one-time operation. You can also customize the settings and view the synchronization results. For complete information about how to use the TOSHIBA Sync Utility, click on the "HELP" button at the lower Right of the Sync Utility window.

NOTE: Not all laptops are equipped with TOSHIBA Sync Utility. Refer to your User's Guide for details.

Launching the Sync Utility

The following procedures detail accessisng the Sync Utility directly.

Windows 7

1. Click on the Start menu button.
2. In the search field, type "Sync Utility".
3. Click on "Sync Utility" from the search returns to open.

Windows 8

1. From the Windows Start screen press the "Windows + C" keys to open the charms bar.
2. Select "Search" from the charms bar.
3. In the search field, type "Sync Utility".
4. Click on "Sync Utility" under "Apps" to open.

Performing a Task

This procedure applies to Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers.

1. To perform a synchronization task, click on the "HELP" button on the lower Left of the Sync Utility window.
2. Click on "Basic Operation" then "Main Windows" in the Left navigation to view the available options and how to perform them. Click on each task to learn more.
   
3. Click the "Add Task" button on the lower Left of the Sync Utility window and perform the desired task.
