SERVICE STATION
This application allows your computer to automatically search for TOSHIBA software updates or other alerts from TOSHIBA that are specific to your computer system and its programs. When enabled, this application periodically transmits to our servers a limited amount of system information required to perform these updates or alerts. This feature is enabled by default.
Installing Service Station
If this utility or feature is not installed on your computer, you can verify if it is available for your specific model under "Downloads" on the Toshiba support web site (support.toshiba.com). Not all utilities are available for every model and operating system. When installing any utilities, install the TOSHIBA Value Added Package first.
Fixing a "Toshiba Service Station has stopped working" error
If you receive this error, please locate the utility on the Toshiba support web site, download it, and reinstall it.
Opening Service Station
- Click the Start menu. On Windows 8, go to the Start screen.
- Enter "Service Station" into the search field. On Windows 8, type "Service Station" while viewing the Start screen.
- Click "Service Station" in the search results.
- Service Station will open.
Enabling or disabling Service Station
- Click the "View Program Access Information" link located under "Last Update" in the lower Left corner.
- Toshiba Service Station Access Information window will open.
- To disable this application (not recommended) click the disable button. To continue using this application click the enable button.
