Diagnosis

This issue may occur if you install Windows Updates KB2760624, KB2760621, or KB2752100 before you activate Office. If you do this, the following folder may be removed:

<system drive>\ProgramData\Microsoft\OEMOffice15

To check if these updates have been installed perform the following:

Windows 7

1. Go to the Start menu and open the "Control Panel".
2. Locate and open "Windows Updates". This may be under "System and Security".
3. Select "View Installed Updates". From here you can see if any of these updates have been installed.

Windows 8

1. Go to the Start screen and type "Windows Updates
2. Select "Settings" under the search field.
3. Select "View Installed Updates". From here you can see if any of these updates have been installed.

Solution

To resolve this issue, reinstall Office from the Office website or from another media. .download and reinstall Office from the Office website, CLICK HERE to go to the Get Office Microsoft website.

• Computers that have Office 2013 preinstalled, purchased and activated between January 29, 2013 and February 4, 2013.
• Computers that have Office 2013 preinstalled, on which KB2760624, KB2760621, or KB2752100 is installed before you try to activate Office.
