Accessing the Disk Management utility in Windows 8 & 8.1

Resolution

Follow the steps below to access Disk Management

Procedure

Right click on lower left corner of the Start screen and click Disk Management.

The Disk Management window will now be displayed. This window will show all the drives detected by windows and can be used to partition and format a hard drive.
