DisplayLink Software Release R7.7M4 delivers the following improvements:
- Critical bug fixes

C1. Fixed issues since R7.7 release (7.7.57957.0)
-------------------------------------------------

Issues fixed in R7.7 M4 release (7.7.60366.0)
-------------------------------------------------

"Priority & VLAN" was set to "Disabled" by default. It is now set to "Priority
and VLAN Enabled" by default, but packets will not be tagged until a VLAN ID is
set. (18256)

VGA cable sensing is disabled when monitor with a preferred resolution greater
than 2048x1152 is connected to the
second output but the resolution is set lower than 2048x1152. (18388)

Audio speaker's enhancements do not work on Windows 7 or Windows 8. (18326)

Some Intel Broadwell platforms could show corruption on DisplayLink
screens in basic graphics mode on Windows 7. (18454)

When DisplayLink software is downloaded and installed from Windows update,
sometimes the DisplayLink device would require a USB cable hot-plug
to start operating. (18319)

On some Surface Pro platforms installing Microsoft windows updates
could cause the DisplayLink driver to become corrupted. This could only be
recovered by re-installing the Intel graphics driver.(18415)

With two monitors connected to DisplayLink device, where one supports high
resolution not supported by Displaylink device, a misleading system message
could appear stating that resolution has been lowered. (18537)

On some dual GPU platforms (Intel/AMD) connecting more than three DisplayLink
monitors could result in continues reboot requests. (18558)

DL-41xx device could show an unstable image after USB cable hot-plug
when connected downstream of a USB hub. (18041,18601)

Some DisplayPort monitors connected to DisplayLink device could remain blank
after resume from sleep. (18421)

A monitor connected using VGA to a DisplayLink device could remain blank
if the DisplayLink device was connected in while host computer was in sleep.
(18710)

Issues fixed in R7.7 M3 release (7.7.59503.0)
-------------------------------------------

Some UHD monitors would display a corrupted or blank screen when
connected to DisplayLink device. (17910)

DL-5xxx series device doesn't support 3440x1440 resolution when monitor
offers only 3440x1440@60Hz mode. (18067)

When a monitor was connected to the DisplayPort output of a DisplayLink device,
and an HDMI monitor was connected, the HDMI screen could remain blank. (18170)

Some UHD modes are not supported if present only
in Vendor Specific Data Block in EDID. (18218,18364)

On some platforms, when multiple monitors are connected to a third party
docking station it is not possible to set displays to extend when
DisplayLink software is installed. (18255)

On some platforms, the DisplayLink device could disconnect and reconnect
to the USB bus when cloning the main screen. (18385)

Some of DirectX resources acquired by DisplayLink driver's are not properly
released which can result in increased memory usage and cause system to crash.
This was a regression in 7.7 M0 (18460)

Issues fixed in 7.7 M2 release (7.7.59032.0)
--------------------------------------------

There could be a longer delay when extending the Windows desktop
in USB to wireless solutions. (17530)

On some devices extending desktop can remain on DisplayLink
screen after disconnecting USB cable. (17916)

DL-5xxx devices could select the unsupported resolutions above 2048x1152 when
UHD monitors were connected through passive DisplayPort to HDMI
adapters. (17970)

A display could remain in Windows "Screen Resolution" after disabling the
display and then disconnecting it from the DisplayLink device. (18047)

On some platforms monitor connected to DisplayLink
device can show corruption when playing a video on a UHD screen. (17938)

Rare blue screen observed in the audio driver when detaching or attaching
DisplayLink device. (17638)

DL-4xxx monitor could remain blank after resuming from suspend. (17303)

Very occasionally a monitor connected to DisplayLink device
could remain blank after resuming from suspend. (18106)

On some platforms DisplayLink device volume setting can
change value to operating system default on resuming from
suspend for a short period of time. (17682)

Installing McAfee anti-virus together with DisplayLink software can
result in a BSOD. (18128)

Paint effect and blinking leftovers when "GPU setting" is set to
"NVIDIA High Performance" in Nvidia Control Panel. (17912)
