This is an Intel Management Engine Interface update.

Changes in this update

  1. Fixes a security weakness of Windows Services on Intel(R) 7 Series chipset (ChiefRiver) integrated PCs.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download and save this file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop.
  2. Save all work in progress and close open applications.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file OS2015054A_TC00604900C.exe to start the installation.
  4. Press the Start button at the Toshiba Archive Extractor window.
  5. Press Yes if a User Account Control message is displayed.

For silent installs

  1. Run the application with the "/s" option.
  2. ex. OS2015054A_TC00604900C.exe /s.

Driver Version Verification

  1. From Programs and Features in Control Panel
  2. Find Intel(R) Management Engine Components
  3. Verify that the version is 9.5.23.1766
   or
  1. Open Device Manager in Control Panel
  2. Double-click Intel(R) Management Engine interface in the System devices group
  3. From the Driver tab:
  4. Verify that the version is 9.5.24.1790
