SPLIT SCREEN UTILITY

The TOSHIBA Split Screen Utility enables you to create multiple display zones on a screen and to fit the active windows within those zones.

Not all laptop models are equipped with the TOSHIBA Split Screen Utility. For complete information about using the Split Screen Utility as well as functionality and available options, refer to the "Utilities" section of the User's Guide for your model located at support.toshiba.com.

Opening the Split Screen Utility Settings

Windows 7

1. Click on the Start menu.
2. Type "Split" into the search field.
3. Under the search returns, select "Split Screen Utility".
4. The "TOSHIBA Split Screen Utility" will open. 

Windows 8

1. From the home screen, press the "Windows+C" keys to open the charms bar.
2. Tap "Search".
3. Type "Split" into the search field.
4. Under "Apps" search returns, select "Split Screen Utility".
5. The "TOSHIBA Split Screen Utility" will open.

To turn split screen on, select "ON" under "Enable Split Screen".

You can then select the desired layout from the displayed templates.

Advanced Settings

Advanced settings allow you to select which pre-installed templates to use as well as the option to create your own template for your needs.
