  1. Fixed: After updating from Windows 8.0 to 8.1 using the Windows 8.1 upgrade release package, audio volume is low.

Installation Instructions

  1. Save this file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop
  2. Save all work in progress and close open applications.
  3. From the Windows Desktop, run the downloaded file to start the installation.
    1. If a User Account Control or Open File message is displayed, press Continue.
    2. Press the Start button at the Toshiba Archive Extractor window.
    3. A software license agreement screen will be displayed.
    4. Click Agree and Continue at the Device driver installation window to start the installation
    5. An Install options screen will be displayed. Select Express then press Next.
    6. Press Close after installation has completed.
    7. Restart the computer.

Driver Version Verification

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs, then Uninstall a program.
  3. Find DTS Studio Sound Driver.
  4. Verify that the driver version is 1.1.47.0.
