FAQ: How to reset your Toshiba Satellite Click computer when it is locked up or non-responsive

Issue

You're Toshiba Satellite Click computer becomes non-response or is locked up.

Procedure

Steps to restore operation on a non-responsive or locked up computer:

  1. Soft Reset:
    1. Press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds or until the computer shuts down.
    2. Press the power button to turn the computer back on
    3. If this did not resolve your issue continue with the Hard Reset procedure
  2. Hard Reset:
    1. Unplug the computer from the AC adapter.
    2. Insert a slender object such as a straightened small paper clip into the reset hole on the left side of the display to press the internal reset button
    3. Remove the object you used to reset the computer.
    4. Re-Connect the AC adapter.
    5. Press the power button to turn the computer back on

If the computer is still non-responsive it may need service
