Issue

The touchpad functions may perform poorly when using Google Chrome internet browser.

Resolution

An update touch pad driver has been realesed to improve these functions.  Update to version 17.0.4.0 or newer of the Synaptic Touchpad driver.

Procedure


 

Driver installation

  1. Save the downloaded file to the Windows Desktop.
  2. Save all work in progress and close open applications.
  3. On the Windows Desktop, double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
  4. Click Start when the Toshiba Archive Extractor window is displayed.
  5. Click Yes to continue if a User Account Control window is displayed.
  6. Follow the displayed instructions to complete the install.
