Issue

If you disable the Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card radio using the Toshiba Wireless LAN Client Manager software, it can not be re-enabled. The Client Manager software will show the status as "Your card has been disabled." and the Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card will not function. The Client Manager File Menu will continue to show "Disable Radio" even though the card is already disabled. It does not change to "Re-enable Radio" etc. This only occurs in Windows 98/98SE.

The Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card can have the radio disabled by following the below steps.

  1. Open Toshiba Wireless LAN Client Manager software.
  2. Click on "File".
  3. Click on "Disable Radio". The card will now be disabled.
