How to recreate the Desktop icon "My Documents" if you have removed it.

The My Documents icon located on the Windows 98, ME or 2000 desktop is a quick and easy
way to access the folder My Documents.- Resolution
Windows 98
- Right-click the Start button and then click Explore.
- Navigate to the "My Documents" folder.
- Right-click the "My Documents" folder and click Copy in the pop-up menu.
- Right-click an empty space on the Windows desktop and
click Paste.
Note: You may need to close the Explorer window. - Click Yes in response to the following message:
The My Documents Folder Cannot Be Copied To The Desktop.

Windows Me and Windows 2000
- Click Folder Options in the Control Panel or click Folder Options listed under the Tool Tab on the current active menu.
- Click the View Tab
- Insure that the option "Show My Documents on the Desktop" is checked.
- Click Okay
