- Procedure
- Verify the wireless antenna on the computer is in the "ON" position.
- Enable the Bluetooth module in the computer by clicking on the Windows Start Menu and selecting Programs> Bluetooth Toshiba Stack> Bluetooth Manager. You will see the Bluetooth icon displayed on the taskbar.
- Install the printer driver for the Bluetooth enabled
printer on the computer using the Add Printer program in
Windows Control Panel.
NOTE: When installing the printer select an available Bluetooth COM port as the printer port. If you have already installed the printer driver change the setting for the printer port to an available Bluetooth COM port. - Start the Bluetooth Service Center by clicking on the
Windows Start Menu and selecting Programs> Bluetooth
Toshiba Stack> Bluetooth Service Center.
Remote Device discovery will automatically begin and the device name for the printer will be displayed with the status of "Not connected". - Once the Remote Device has been discovered click on the
Bluetooth Service Center menu select "Service Search".
NOTE: If security is enabled you will need to enter a Bluetooth Passkey (PIN). A list of Remote Services will appear. - Highlight the Remote Service labeled "P1" and
on the Bluetooth Service Center menu select "Edit"
and then select "Connect".
A window labeled Service Connection will appear. - Select the local COM port client service you want to use for the Bluetooth connection. This must match the COM port you assigned to the printer during the printer installation. You are now ready to print using Bluetooth.
