- Issue
- After installing Windows XP Service Pack 1, the Wireless LAN connection is disabled when coming out of standby.
- Resolution
NOTE: You must be logged on as Administrator or as a member of the Administrators group in order to perform this procedure.
Add new DWord of "IrqRouteToPCIController" in the Registry by completing the following:
- Click on Start.
- Select Run.
- Type REGEDIT in the Open box and click OK.
- Select the following folders in the left frame: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Pcmcia\Parameters
- With the above"Parameters" folder highlighted,click on menu item Edit.
- Select New, then click on "DWORD Value".
- Type IrqRouteToPciController in the box that is open. Type the name exactly as shown as it is case sensitive.
- Press Enter and leave the Data field with the default as "0x00000000 (0)"
- Close the Registry Editor window and restart the computer.
You should now be able to connect to the Access Point.
