When installing or updating applications an error message is displayed indicating that there is insufficient storage space available.  This can occur even when there would appear to be sufficient space indicated when reviewing the Storage option under the Settings menu.

Applications can only be installed within a dedicated partition of the tablet storage.   The application partition size is set in the initial configuration and can not be increased.   To check the application storage space go to Settings>Storage and select Applications.  At the bottom of the page Internal storage used and free will be displayed.   Once the available free space is reduced to 200MB or less no additional applications can be updated or installed.

In order to free up additional application storage uninstall previously downloaded applications.
