"Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" icon disappears after resuming from sleep or hibernation

Issue

The "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" icon in the task tray may disappear after resuming from sleep or hibernation. This issue occurs in Windows 7 SP1 only, after the System enters Sleep (S3) or Hibernation (S4) with a memory card (SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC, Memory Stick or xD) inserted into the slot and is resumed.

Resolution

Download and install Ricoh Card Reader Driver version 2.14.17.02 or higher. Please check the Support Download website for your model and download the latest driver.
