Description
This driver enhances the functionality of your display device and allows you to perform different settings, such as Color Management, Monitor Properties, or Overlay Control.

Change Points for Portege R700/R705 and Tecra A11 only

  1. Fixed: If Windows Update KB2454826 is installed, Windows Live Mail can not be started.
  2. Fixed: If Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Live Essentials 2011 are installed, Windows Live Messenger will not run.
  3. Fixed: If Internet Explorer 9 and Windows Live Essentials 2011 are installed, Windows Live Messenger will not run.

Additional Change Points for Tecra A11 and Tecra M11

Assuming the following configurations - Internal LCD only, Resolution is 1900x600 or higher, and CPU is Intel Core I3, I5, or I7 Capella.
  1. Blanks out the internal LCD screen after resuming from hibernation (S4 state) while the OS and applications are still running normally.
  2. Pixel Corruption Over the Integrated LVDS Interface of the Intel 5 Series Chipset.

Install Instructions

  1. Determine if the computer is running 32 or 64-bit Windows 7.
    1. Click Start, right-click Computer, then click Properties.
    2. Under System check the System type.
    3. Download the appropriate driver (32 or 64-bit) depending on your system type.
  2. Installation
    1. Save the file to the Windows Desktop.
    2. Save all work in progress and close open applications.
    3. On the Windows Desktop, double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
    4. Click the Start button when the Toshiba Archive Extractor window is displayed.
    5. Click Yes if a User Account Control Window is displayed.
    6. Click Next at the Welcome screen.
    7. Click Yes at the License Agreement screen.
    8. Click Next at the Readme File Information screen.
    9. Click Next after installation completes.
    10. Select Yes, I want to restart this computer now then click Finish.

Version Verification

  1. Right-click on the Windows desktop and click Graphics Properties.
  2. Click Options and Support then click Information Center.
  3. Verify that the Driver Version is 8.15.10.2189.
