Issue

Problem:

The accupoint and the buttons associated to the accupoint still work even though the mouse has been disable with the FN/F9 hot keys.  Same thing occurs when using the enable/disable mouse button (located above the touchpad).

Resolution

Solution:

For the Alps Dual Pointing Device:

1)  Go to the "Mouse Properties" (Toshiba Assist, Optimize tab) or (Control Panel)

2)  Advance tab.

3)  Click on the the "Advance feature settings" button.

4)  Device Select tab.

5)  Check the device you want to enable.  In this case if you want to disable the Accupoint, just uncheck the "Use Accupoint" box.

Note: See Picture

Procedure

New Spec.  Accupoint and the mouse buttons above the touchpad will work regardless of the status of the FN/F9 or the enable/disable mouse button.  FN/F9 and the mouse enable and disable button will continue to work with the touchpad.

This is the new spec for the Tecra Dual pad.
