The DVD Player displays "No Disc".

Information
  • Check the back of the DVD case. There will be a small wire-frame globe with a number in it. This tells you the region code. Is that number 1 or does it say all?
  • Yes, then it is the correct region code.
  • No, the disk is the wrong region code and will not play.
  • Is the disc burned?
    • What type of disc is it?
  •  –R/RW, the disc will play.
  • +R/RW, the disc will not play in this unit.
  • Please make sure that the disc is clean and has no scratches. If the disc does seem dirty, try cleaning it with a soft, dry cloth.
  •  If the discs are the correct type and region code and are clean, please reset the unit by unplugging it from the wall for 2-3 minutes.
  • If problems persist contact Toshiba Customer Support.
