Issue

Problems downloading information to your TiVO unit.

Resolution
  • Check to make sure that your phone cord or network adapter is connected to the DVR. 
    • If your phone cord or network adapter is properly connected, you can make a connection now to download new program information.
  • Press the TiVo button on the remote to go to TiVo Central. Select Messages & Setup; then Settings; then Phone & Network Setup; then Connect to the TiVo Service.
  • Your DVR will connect to the TiVo service and receive updated program information. Once the connection is successful, and the new program information has been   indexed, the message that you received will go away.
  • If the connection fails, try to resolve the issue using the Phone and network troubleshooting.  Go to Tivo central; messages & setup; phonne and network; phone and network troubleshooting
  • At the first drop-down menu, select test connection now.
  • If your connections are successful but you still receive a Program Info Is Running Low message, your cable or satellite provider may have removed the lineup that you selected when you set up your DVR. To begin receiving program guide data again, you will need to repeat Guided Setup and select a current lineup offered by your cable or satellite provider.
    • Press the TiVo button on the remote to go to TiVo Central. Select Messages & Setup; then Restart or Reset System; then Repeat Guided Setup.
