- If you see closed captioning on the TV while watching the signal from your VCR, the television‘s closed captioning has been turned on
- In order to turn off the closed captioning you will need to turn it off on your TV. Contact your TV manufacturer for more information about this.
- If after making sure the closed caption is turned off on your TV, the signal is coming from your input signal. If you have a cable or satellite box there should be an option to turn the closed captioning off on the box itself.
