Driver Install Instructions

1. Save the file to the Windows Desktop.
2. Save all work in progress and close open applications.
1. Verify the version number of the IntelR PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Software on your computer using the Version Verification Instructions below.
2. If your computer has WiMAX software version 2.3.0, uninstall the existing WiMAX application using the Removal Instructions below before continuing. If the WiMAX software is version 2.1.x or 2.2.x, continue to the next step.
3. On the Windows Desktop, double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
4. Click Start at the TOSHIBA Archive Extractor window.
5. Click Yes to continue if a User Account Control Window is displayed.
6. Click Next at the Welcome Window, then Next again.
7. Accept the terms of the License Agreement, then click Next.
8. Click Next to accept the default destination folder and start the update. This step may take several minutes.
9. Click Finish after installation completes.
10. Restart the computer.

Version Verification Instructions

1. From the Start Menu.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click Intel PROSet Wireless.
4. Click WiMAX Connection Utility.
5. Click Help.
6. Click About...

Removal Instructions

1. Open Control Panel.
2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
3. Click Intel PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Software
.
4. Click Uninstall, then click Yes.
5. Click Yes again if a User Account Control Window is displayed.
6. Close the "Uninstall or change a program" Window.
7. Restart the computer.
