How to Change Your Home Page in Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 5 and 6

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. Click the General tab.
4. In the Address box, type the Web page address that you want for your home page.
NOTE: If you want the page that you are currently viewing in Internet Explorer to be your home page, click Use Current.  If you want to change to new Toshiba Home page enter http://start.toshiba.com/ 

5. Click OK

Internet Explorer 7 and 8

To set the current webpage as the home page
Your home page is displayed when you first start Internet Explorer, or when you click the Home button.
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
3. Click the arrow to the right of the Home button , and then click Add or Change Home Page.
4. In the Add or Change Home Page dialog box, do one of the following:
 To make the current webpage your only home page, click Use this webpage as your only home page.
 To start a home page tab set or to add the current webpage to your set of home page tabs, click Add this webpage to your home page tabs.
 To replace your existing home page or home page tab set with the webpages you currently have open, click Use the current tab set as your home page. This option will only be available if you have more than one tab open in Internet Explorer.
5. Click Yes to save your changes.

To reset the home page to the new Toshiba Home Page

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Enter http://start.toshiba.com under Home Page

5. Click OK to save your changes.
Note: If you do not want any home page to be opened when Internet Explorer starts, click Use Blank in step 4 above.
