The Toshiba Value Added Package (TVAP) includes the following components.

Change Points

Corrected a problem where the optical disk drive type switches from DVD RW to CD when the computer is running on battery power, preventing DVD media from playing.

Install Instructions:

Save the file to the Windows Desktop.
Save all work in progress and close open applications.
On the Windows Desktop, double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
Click Start at the TOSHIBA Archive Extractor window.
Click Yes if a User Account Control window is displayed.
Click Yes to confirm rebooting after the upgrade process completes.
The upgrade process will uninstall the existing TVAP and reboot.
Click Next after the computer reboots, then click Next again to install all of the components.
Click Finish when the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" message is displayed.
Select Yes, I want to restart my computer now then Click OK.

Version Verification

From the Start Menu, click Control Panel.
Click Programs, then click Programs and Features.
Confirm the version of "TOSHIBA Value Added Package" displayed at the bottom of the window is 1.2.28-2.
