mini notebook NB305 no longer boots after upgrading to a 2GB DDR3 memory module

Information

The affected models of the mini notebook NB305 use the Atom N455 CPU chipset and are not compatible with some 2GB DDR3 memory modules.

2GB DDR3 memory modules that will support the N455 chipset are available from ToshibaDirect.com and other sources. Toshiba supports use of the following memory module part numbers:

Toshiba: PA3856U-1M2G
Kingston: KTT1066D3S/2G
