Changes were made to correct the following:
  1. In some situations, data transferred or copied from the applicable PC models to an xD picture card may be corrupt. The driver update fixes this issue.

Driver Update Instructions

  1. Save the file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop.
  2. Save all work in progress and close open applications.
  3. Remove the old driver:
    • Click Start, Control Panel, Programs, Programs and Features.
    • Select JMicron Flash Media Controller then Uninstall.
      • .
    • Restart the computer.
  4. Install the new driver:
    • Double-click the downloaded file to begin the update.
    • If a User Account Control message is displayed, click Yes.
    • TOSHIBA Archive Extractor will start.
    • Click Start.
    • Click Install to start installer program.
    • Click Finish and restart the system.

Driver Version Verification

  1. Click Start, Control Panel, Programs, Programs and Features.
  2. Select JMicron Flash Media Controller.
  3. Select Organize, Layout, Details Pane.
  4. Verify that the version is 1.00.44.01
