Description

This is the TOSHIBA HDD/SSD Alert utility for 64-bit edition of Windows 7. The TOSHIBA HDD/SSD Alert utility includes wizard functions to monitor the Disk Drive operating status and execute system backup.

Determining if your computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit Operating System

From the Start Menu, right-click Computer.
Check if the System Type says 32-bit Operating System, or 64-bit Operating System.

Changes From Previous Version

When Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert is updated to version 3.1.64.6 and Toshiba PC Health Monitor is updated to 1.5.6.64, the following issue is resolved:

If PC Health Montitor is enabled, sound and video may skip intermittently in Windows Media Player, or Media Center.

Installation Instructions

Save this file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop
Save all work in progress and close open applications.
Double-click the downloaded file icon on the Windows Desktop.
Click Start.
If a User Account Control (UAC) Window is displayed, click Yes.
Click Yes to confirm the update.
Click Next to resume, and Finish to complete the installation.

Software Version Verification

Click Start, Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall a program.
The TOSHIBA HDD/SSD Alert version should be 3.1.64.6.
