Installation Instructions

  1. Save this file to a convenient location such as the Windows Desktop.
  2. Save all work in progress and close all open applications.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file icon.
  4. Click Start.
  5. Choose Repair then click Next.
  6. When "Maintenance Complete" is displayed, click Finish.
  7. Restart the computer.

Driver Version Verification

  1. Run Control Panel.
  2. Double-click System.
  3. Click the Hardware Tab.
  4. Click Device Manager.
  5. Double-click Network Adapters, then double-click Realtek PCIe xx Family Controller
  6. Select the Driver tab and verify that the driver version is 5.742.1125.2009.
